Our
original grape
Located in the center of Ribera del Duero, in the renowned area named the Golden Mile. We are located on one side of the Duero River.
We are proud survivors of Phylloxera in the 19th century. That is why we are guardians of the original grape from Ribera del Duero, carrying the almost extinct legacy of pre-phylloxera vineyards in each bottle.
Our 100% Tinta del País grape, faithful to the land, is the essence of our creations, a heritage that unfolds in every drop.
altitude
With an altitude of 838 meters, our vineyards extend over 70 hectares with a South-Southeast orientation. The young plots, 15 to 25 years old, coexist with the oldest plots of 80 and 120 years; silent witnesses of stories and passions that embrace time.
ecological
Always with great respect for nature, the wines are made organically, free of chemical additives.
CLIMATE
Our micro-climate, warm by day and cool at night, caresses the grapes, infusing them with vigorous tannins.
GRAPES
The vines and bunches are small, and although they produce less quantity, they provide the highest quality.
HARVEST
Our harvest is a ritual that pays tribute to freshness, with a 100% manual selection.
Taking care of the enviroment
The routine care of the vineyard is carried out by the owners of the winery in a natural way and by hand. Sulfur is only used as a preventive measure against possible pests. Two prunings are carried out: dry pruning around the month of January and green pruning around the month of May.

Using the artisanal manual production techniques of our ancestors we have managed to create natural wines, with character and with a unique evolution that distinguishes us from the rest of the wines of the Ribera del Duero.
